Year 1 (7th grade) 2021-2022

Welcome to all,
 The following are the documents and files needed to help complete year one of Holy Spirit's Confirmation program which take place outside of classes.

Assignments for year 1-

• Choosing a Sponsor- Your child is asked to begin discerning whom they would like to be their Confirmation Sponsor. A sponsor must be a practicing and faithful Catholic who is over the age of 16 and who is not the parent of the Candidate to be Confirmed. Please fill out the Confirmation Information sheet. Due December 7^th
• Choosing a Confirmation Name- Your child should prayerfully consider a particular saint whose name they would like to take for their Confirmation name. Please fill out the Confirmation Information sheet. Due December 7^th
• Baptismal Certificate Due: (If not Baptized at Holy Spirit.) Due December 7^th
• Saint Report-Once the Saint name has been chosen, they are asked to write a brief report on their Saint. Due May 3^rd
• Service Projects- Your child is asked to complete a home, parish and community service project this year. Once completed, they are to fill out a reflection form about the completed project. Due May 3^rd
• Sponsor Interview- Once their Sponsor has been chosen, the candidate is to interview their sponsor and get comfortable sharing their faith with them. Due May 3^rd
• Sponsor Witness Form- Your child’s Sponsor will need to have their parish pastor sign the form indicating that they are in good standing with the Church. Due May 3^rd
• Encouragement:  Review with your child.
